voy a quedar corta.
no extrañar tanto.
Infinitas
gracias por todo.
Hasta
siempre.

How do you say farewell to the place that felt like home for
almost a year? How do you say goodbye to my friends and colleagues without
having the feeling that you’ll see them on Monday as usual?
Back in October 2013 when I was playing with the idea of
applying for the Fulbright scholarship I was very far from knowing that these
last months were going to be some of the best months in my life.
It is really hard, almost impossible, to put all these
feelings and all the experiences into words. I tried to express them through my
pictures and my blog entries, but it will never be enough.
Looking back, I don’t think I would change anything, I don’t
think I would have done things differently at all. I lived each day as it were
the last one, I laughed, I cried, I travelled, I eat like crazy, I cooked, I
danced, I put up with the cold, I surprised, I was surprised, the list is just
endless.
I work in one of the nicest environments that I’ve ever
known. Very few times I’ve felt so comfortable, appreciated, understood and
free as I felt working in the SU language department.
I hope life takes me back here sometime at list for a short
visit in order not to miss this place and its people so much.
I have to move on, the show must go on and soon there will
come new challenges, but what I lived in the past 9 months will be forever in
my heart and memories.
Thanks a million!
All the best.
